Autumn Equinox Women's Circle

You’re welcome to join our sister circle which celebrates the subtle transition to autumn at the Autumn Equinox... a powerful time for us to gather in ceremony and share experience. Our circles are all about a warm and friendly environment, and all are welcome.

There is just one moment, one transition point when everything pauses in complete balance. It is when the Sun shines directly on the equator and the length of day and night is almost equal. It is the Autumn equinox or Mabon in the Pagan calendar. It is time for balancing opposites and seeing them as parts of the whole. The darkness and the light within, contraction and expansion, the Yin and the Yang, the old, and the new. Everything co-exists together and we need both sides in order to be balanced. This is the time to celebrate both sides and honour the changing season which brings a chance to start again, to reclaim the inner balance.

The Autumn Equinox is also a meaningful time of year to honour the harvest. Whether that be a "real" harvest of the things planted in your garden or the harvest of efforts and intentions for your life path that you set earlier in the year. The harvest can come in many forms...the food that nourishes us, our family and friends, health, growth...

We'll be setting intentions that will stay with us throughout the winter. There is the option to meet again in circle at Winter Solstice.

These circcles are held in the cosy Shala space in Cliftonville. All are welcome. 

Our circles are held quarterly at the Solstices and Equinoxes.
