About the Event
Our next girlhike will be on 14th Aug in the evening. Join us for a wonderful opportunity to reconnect ourselves with the wildness around and within us.
Founded by Alaina Crystal, a feminist strategist, coach and facilitator, girlhike is for women+ and non-binary folx who feel the pull of the wild outdoors and want some guidance getting out there.
We will incorporate moments of sharing, meditation, and connection with each other and the beautiful land that surrounds us.
We’ll begin at Shala with an opening circle to forge connections amongst the group, then set out for an easy two-hour coastal hike on level terrain, with a pub stop (including non-alc options) midway.
This hike will take place rain or shine, so please do prepare with sturdy boots, layers, and waterproofs if necessary. If the Met Office issues a weather warning, we will notify you of any changes in plan.
Please note that this hike aims to be as accessible as possible, but that it may incorporate some surfaces which are less smooth and stable. Do get in touch if you have any questions on the hike terrain.
