About the Event

During this ceremony we invite you to connect with the spirit of Willow, 'Tree of Enchantment'. With their deep, sturdy roots Willow symbolises resilience, flexibility, growth and optimism in Celtic mythology. They are often associated with water, the moon & magic as well as their many practical applications such as basket making and building.

We will drink medicinal willow bark tea together and journey through a guided meditation to meet the spirit of Willow, led by Nadean and accompanying ocean drum. Then we will take some time to connect to our creativity by using willow rods and foraged foliage to make a small floral wreath for you to take home.

Join to discover the wisdom these more-than-human beings have to share with us and connect to our ancestral heritage to help us guide our path forward.

Ceremony and ritual were an important part of daily life for our ancestors for whom connection with nature was intrinsic. In a time of disconnection and dissociation we can utilise these practices to lead us back into the nurturing embrace of Mother Nature.

This 2 hour ceremony will be led by Nadean Foster & Anna Brook, come as you are, everything will be provided.
