Samhain Circle (Halloween)

Samhain (Halloween) is a potent time in the Celtic calendar, a liminal time when traditionally one year ends and the next begins. A powerful time to connect to our ancestors and invoke healing through these pathways too.

Join us for an afternoon connecting with Celtic medicine, myth & wisdom during our next Native Tree Ceremony held by Nadean. This time we will be meeting with the magic of the Elder tree.

During the ceremony we will drink hot foraged elderberry tonic, journey to meet with the spirit of our native Elder and discover what wisdom these ancient tree beings have to share with us.

Elder is connected to the crone (wise woman) archetype. Working with Elder, also known as the witches' tree, can help us move through and release emotionally congested states, fear and bring clarity. The energy of Elder can help to hold us through times of transition.

Ceremony and ritual were an important part of daily life for our ancestors for whom connection with nature was intrinsic. In this modern time of disconnection and dissociation we can utilise these practices to lead us back into the nurturing embrace of Mother Nature.

This 2 hour ceremony will be led by Nadean Foster.

Nadean is a women’s circle facilitator and yoga teacher from Ireland. Through her work she explores what it means to be fully human and how we can become ancestors worth descending from.
